The Board of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria Plc (GSK) has announced that the Company has received the Securities and Exchange Commission’s formal approval of its scheme of arrangement which will result in delisting from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).
The NGX’s bullish run continued today, as the ASI appreciated by 2.38% to close at 90,063.25 points, up by 2,092.88.
NGX the All-Share Index appreciated by 3.93%, gaining 3,330.21 points to close at an all-time high of 87,971.10 points.
The NGX has rebounded from its cool-off yesterday as the All-Share Index appreciated by 0.66%, gaining 540.88 points to close at 82,565.26 points today. 
For the first time in 2024, the NGX closed a trading day in the bearish region, as the All-Share Index crashed by 1.4% to close at 82,024.38 points, from yesterday’s 83,191.84 points.
In continuation of the 2024 boom, the NGX has achieved its highest single-day gain since June 13, 2023.
The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) concluded 2023 on a positive note, buoyed by restored investor confidence in listed companies. 
NGX continues its bullish run, crossing the 80,000 mark.
At the close of trading for January 5, 2024, equities gained N263 billion, as the market capitalization appreciated by 0.62% to close at N42.694 trillion from yesterday’s N42.43 trillion
NGX says its partnership with PenCom will strengthen the participation of PFAs in the equities market through the NGX Pension Broad Index. 
Over the course of five trading days, spanning from December 27, 2023, to January 3, 2024, equities listed on the NGX surged by approximately N2.063 trillion, coinciding with a 5.11% rise in the NGX’s All-Share Index during this period.
One day after crossing the 75,000 mark, the NGX has continued its bullish run, appreciating by 2.04%, gaining 1,546.69 points to hit 77,537.57 points.
