Her action led to the fire that razed the multi-million naira shopping mall all night and into the early hours of the next day.
The cause of the fire was said to be unascertained at the time it happened.
Ibrahim Muhammad, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Federal Capital Territory Fire Service had said that firefighters from several fire service stations in Asokoro, Garki, Games Village and the National Judicial Institute in Abuja combated the “massive” fire.
It is yet unknown if the Police have been able to identify the arsonist.
what a wicked world
This was probably a case of an accident waiting to happen if Indeed that gas burner was connected to a gas source thru a fiilled cylinder. With highly flammable compressed insecticide bottles and cartons directly above the gas burner. Do they think that stores like Game and Spar which separate gas burners from other appliances don’t have a reason for doing so. In any case, I hope the store is insured to cut down their material losses.
@Stanley, most places would “an accident waiting to happen” if a wicked person or persons DELIBERATELY set the place on fire. Let’s ignore the CAUSE of the fire and indulge in inanities.
