The Canadian government announced this via the Canadian Foreign Policy official Twitter handle on Wednesday evening.

The Canadian Foreign Policy office announced that “Canada is deeply concerned about the excessive use of force during the ongoing protests in #Nigeria. Those responsible for #HumanRights violations and abuse must be held accountable.”
Canada joins the UK Minister for Africa, James Duddridge MP, who earlier said that the United Kingdom is monitoring the #EndSARS protests in Nigeria and called for a peaceful police reform process.
