Equities trading on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) ended November on an upbeat note, buoyed by a surge in investor confidence toward listed corporations.
Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) has posted a pre-tax profit of N262.2 billion for the nine months ending September 2023, representing a year-on-year growth of 55% from the corresponding period in 2022.  
NGX continued its bullish run today as the All-Share Index appreciated by 0.11% to hit 71,365.25 points.
Market sentiments were bullish today as some blue-chip stocks recorded massive gains causing the All-Share Index of the NGX to appreciate by 0.37%, closing at 71,283.34 points.
The NGX Limited has said that with about 53% of the Muslim population Islamic Finance is Poised for significant growth in Nigeria.
As we enter the final month of the year 2023, activities are expected to ramp up in the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) this week, as portfolio managers are expected to begin portfolio assessments and adjustments.  
MTN has proposed the issuance of up to N72.1 bn series 10 commercial paper notes under its N250 bn commercial paper issuance programme. 
NGX has advocated that FG and CBN should accord priority to listed corporates in their procurement processes and access to FX.  
The NGX All-Share Index appreciated by 0.07% to close today at 71,052.85 points. Equities gained 27 billion as the market capitalization appreciated to N39.075 billion.  
For the second day in a row, the NGX closed flat as the market marginally declined by 0.09% to close at 71,003.98 points.
The NGX started the week on a bearish note as the All-Share Index declined by 0.15% to close at 71,008.7 points.
There was low volume trading in the market as the NGX closed flat today, with the All-Share Index gaining 0.02% to close at 71,025.16 points.
