Nairametrics| About 579 workers of the Plateau State government have been sacked and taken off the government’s payroll, the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr. Muhammad Nazif has said.

According to him, out of these, 101 had continued in service beyond their terminal dates and have been on the government’s payroll. In addition to striking their names off the payroll, these ones are also expected to return over 70 million Naira to the State Government.
