The Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) has accused the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) of labour injustice, poor welfare conditions, and victimisation of union leaders. 
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) have announced a seven-day warning strike to commence on March 18 , calling for the release of four months' salaries withheld by the Federal Government following the 2022 nationwide strike.
Some university workers under the aegis of SSANU and NASU have suspended their almost 5-month-old strike for a period of 2 months.
The Federal Government has revealed that other academic unions that negotiated with it will resume work in the next one week.
Non-academic staff of Nigerian universities have suspended their 3-week long nationwide strike.
SSANU, NASU have both commenced a nationwide strike action today.
Non-Academic unions of tertiary institutions have threatened to continue their strike over the sharing formula of the N40billion EAA.
The associations stated that the strike was premised on the inconsistencies of the IPPIS in the payment of salaries.
