Nigeria’s movie industry, Nollywood produced a total of 375 movies in the 3rd quarter of 2021, with Lagos and Abuja leading production with 159 and 108 produced movies.

This was disclosed by the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) in a report on Saturday.

The Special Assistant on Media to the Executive Director/CEO, NFVCB, Mr Joshua Olomu, stated that the report was for the third quarter of the year, covering all films submitted to the board’s offices for the period, as film production declined from highs of 635 produced in the second quarter and 416 in the first quarter.
