Fidelity Bank Plc has obtained approval from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) to extend the deadline for the publication of its audited financial statements for the half-year ended June 30, 2026, to September 30, 2026.

The extension was disclosed in a notice dated August 21, 2026, and signed by the bank’s Company Secretary, Ezinwa Unuigboje.

According to the bank, the audit of its H1 2026 financial statements is still being finalized.

In the statement, Fidelity Bank said that upon completion of the audit, the accounts will be submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for regulatory approval before being released to the investing public.

  • “Fidelity Bank Plc wishes to inform its esteemed shareholders, Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), and other stakeholders of a potential delay in publication of its Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the Half Year Ended June 30, 2026 as required by the listing rules of NGX.
  • “Premised on the foregoing, the approval of the NGX was obtained for an extension of time to September 30, 2026, subject to receipt of regulatory approval from the CBN for the H1 2026 audited accounts.”

The bank also reminded insiders and connected persons that the closed trading window on its shares remains in force and will only be lifted 24 hours after the publication of the audited results.
