Transcorp Power Consortium has emerged winner of the bidding process for the acquisition of Afam Power Plc.
This is according to Mr M.K Ahmed, the Chairman of the National Council on Privatisation (NCP), who made the announcement in Abuja on Tuesday.
Transcorp Power Consortium submitted a whooping N105.3 billion to emerge as the winner of the bidding process. The consortium is followed closely by the Diamond Airstrips which submitted N102.4 billion bid.
“The bid submitted by Transcorp Consortium was N105.3billion is hereby declared as the winning bid… The runner up is the bid submitted by the Diamond Stripes for N102.4billion.It is the runner up and reserved bidder. Transcorp Consortium winning the bid, and Diamond Stripes coming first runner up.”
