Stanbic IBTC Holdings has released its results for the period ended June 2018. The bank also declared an interim dividend of N1 per share.
Here are highlights of the results.
Gross Earnings
Gross Earnings increased from N97.1 billion in 2017 to N114 billion in 2018. This represents a 17.4% increase year on year.
Profit Before Tax
Profit Before Tax jumped from N29.1 billion in 2017 to N50 billion in 2018. This amounts to a 71% increase compared to the corresponding period of 2017.
Profit After Tax
Profit After Tax also increased from N24.1 billion in 2017 to N43 billion in 2018. This represents a 78% increase year on year.
Earnings Per Share
Earnings Per increased from N2.30 in 2017 to N4.16 in 2018. This amounts to an 80.8% increase year on year.
