FEC approves construction of 28 Roads, Bridges Estimated at over N1.2 trillion
The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has stated that there are plans by the Federal Government to complete the Benin-Lokoja road project in the next six months. 
The FG has issued a new directive, mandating a mix of 70% stone base aggregate and 30% dust base for the foundation of all road works.  
The Federal Government has started constructing the 700-kilometer Lagos – Calabar Coastal Highway, designed to extend through 9 states with two spurs leading to the Northern States.
