SUNU Assurance Nigeria Plc, Karim-Franck Dione is the latest Non-Executive Director of SUNU Assurances

Karim-Franck Dione has been appointed as the Non Executive Director of SUNU Assurances Nigeria Plc. This came after he resigned from his role as Executive Director, Performance Management and Strategy on Tuesday 30th July 2019. 
 

In a notification sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), shareholders, stakeholders and the investing public at large, the insurance company declared that the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) approved Karim’s appointment. The approval came on September 25th, 2019

Consequently, Karim’s appointment in the new role took effect from 30th July 2019.

Profile: Mr. Karim-Franck Dione is a Business Professional with over 10 years of work experience in Canada and France. He holds a B.Sc in Computer Science and Business Administration from College Laurendeau and HEC Montreal(Canada) respectively.  

He had previously served as the Project Manager & Executive Assistant to the President with SUNU Gestion (France) and previously with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (Canada), He currently serves as Director, Management Accounting & Financial Management in SUNU Participations Holding (France).  

He is also a board member in SUNU Assurances Vie Senegal, de SUNU Assurances IARD Senegal since 2012, SUNU Assurances Vie Niger, SUNU Assurances IARD Niger, SUNU Assurances Guinea, SUNU Assurances Vie Cote d’lvoire, SUNU Assurances IARD Cote d’ Ivoire, SUNU Assurances Ghana, SUNU Assurances Liberia, SUNU Asurances/Allianz IARD Burkina Faso, SUNU Sante, SUNU Health Nigeria Limited and SUNU Investment, Total Senegal. 

Karim-Franck Dione was appointed Executive-Director, Performance Management & Strategy at SUNU Assurances Nigeria Pic in December 2015.

About SUNU Assurances Nigeria Plc: SUNU Assurances Nigeria PLC, formerly Equity Assurance Plc, is a Nigeria-based insurance company. The Company’s principal activity is the provision of non-life insurance business, health management, and financial services to corporate and retail customers in both Nigeria and Ghana, respectively. 

The Company’s segments include Non-Life, Asset Management and Health Management.
