The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) have re-energized their partnership, which aims to formalize more informal enterprises in Nigeria.
This deal was signed at the Abuja Enterprise Agency’s Open Day Business Exhibition, dubbed “360 Degrees Exhibition for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).”
The SMEs were able to demonstrate their products and services as well as formalize their operations by registering with the Corporate Affairs Commission at the event.

The Registrar General/Chief Executive Officer of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Alhaji Garba Abubakar, spoke about the initiative and reaffirmed his commitment to work with sister government departments to ensure the growth and development of SMEs.

Some SMEs were able to register their enterprises on the spot, while others were given advice on how to guarantee their businesses were formalized.
