The Minister of Power, Alhaji Saleh Mamman has stated that the ministry is working to improve electricity supply in Nigeria and to provide alternative sources of power to communities not connected to the national grid.
The Minister disclosed this on Tuesday at the Eld-el-Kabir celebration in Jalingo, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.
He urged that alternative sources of power generation would be provided to communities not connected to the national grid.
Mamman urged Nigerians to embrace peace, insisting that only peaceful coexistence would bring development. He also called for agitators should give peace a chance and contribute to the ‘one Nigeria’s project’.
