This is coming barely a week an explosion at Soba, Abule Ado area of the same LGA, where 23 people died and several others were left injured.

The cause of the outbreak could not be ascertained as at the time of
filing this report, but several tweets suggest that the fire started
sometime before noon.
The fire incident which broke out at Yaya close, off Casco street, Agboju, razed on for a while before the youths in the community contained it, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings.
Sources say that the fire authorities were contacted but did not show up in time, leaving the youths to handle the situation themselves.
