UAC of Nigeria Plc was the best-performing stock today. The stock gained 10% to close at N6.05. NPF Microfinance Bank Plc gained 9.73% to close at N1.24. Associated Bus Company Plc gained 9.38% to close at N0.35. Cornerstone Insurance Company Plc also gained 8% to close at N0.27. LASACO Assurance Plc rounded off the top five gainers for today. The stock gained 7.41% to close at N0.29.
Top Losers
On the flip side, Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc was the worst-performing stock, declining by 10% to close at N0.45. GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria Plc fell by 9.49% to close at N7.15. Ecobank Transnational Inc fell by 7.14% to close at N7.15. NEM Insurance Plc fell by 6.84% to close at N1.77. Forte Oil Plc also rounded off the top five losers for the day. The stock shed 3.65% to close at N14.50.
