Sterling Bank Plc hits the top traded again

The Nigerian Stock Exchange ended Thursday’s trading session this week, in negative territory. The All Share Index closed at 29.553.12 basis points, down 0.39%.
Year to date, the index is down 5.97%.

Top Gainers and Losers

Chams Plc was the best performing stock today. The stock gained 10% to close at N0.22. Forte Oil Plc gained 9.82% to close at N27.40. Vitafoam Plc rounds up the top three gainers for today. The stock gained 7.84% to close at N3.85.

On the flip side, Capital Oil Plc was the worst performing stock today. The stock declined by 9.89% to close at N33.70. Unity Bank Plc fell by 9.30% to close at 0.78. Eterna Plc rounds up the top three losers for the day. The stock shed 8.05% to close at N4.00.

Sterling Bank Plc was the most actively traded stock today. 124 million shares valued at N299 million were traded in 93 deals. Chams was next with 114 million shares valued at 218 million traded in 83 deals. FBN Holdings rounds up the top three most actively traded stocks today. 55 million shares valued at N407 million were traded in 363 deals.
