Year to date, the index has continued to decline, falling below the 1% mark.
Top Gainers and Losers
Mc Nichols Plc was the best performing stock today. The stock appreciated by 10% to close at N0.66. First Aluminum is next appreciating by 7.14% to close at N0.30. FCMB rounds up the top three gainers for the day. The stock gained 6.67% to close at N1.92.
On the flip side, agri giant Presco was the worst performing stock today. The stock shed 9.33% to close at n68. GSK Consumer Nigeria shed 9.09% to close at N10.50.
