The Nigerian Stock Exchange ended today’s trading session in the red for the second consecutive day.
The All Share Index closed today’s trading session at 32,010.06 basis points, down 0.35%. Year to date, the index, however, remains in the green, up 1.84%
Top Gainers and Losers
Cadbury Nigeria was the best performing stock today. The stock gained 7.84% to close at N11. Dangote Flour was next, appreciating by 4.13% to close at N11.35. Stanbic IBTC Holdings rounds up the top three gainers for today. The stock gained 3% to close at N48, as investors took position following positive FY 2018 results.
On the flip side, University Press Limited was the worst performing stock today. The stock shed 9.78% to close at N2.03. United Capital was next declining by 9.09% to close at N3. Royal Exchange rounds up the top three losers for the day, dropping by 8.57% to close at N0.32.

Zenith Bank was the most actively traded stock today. 34.8 million shares valued at N859 million were traded in 859 deals.
Access Bank was next with 29.2 million shares valued at N177 million traded in 194 deals. FBN Holdings rounds up the most actively traded stock for the day with 28.9 million shares valued at N235 million traded in 205 deals.
