The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) closed today’s trading session on a positive note. The All Share Index closed at 32,129.94 basis points. Year to date, the index is up 2.23% 

Top Gainers and Losers 

McNichols Plc was the best performing stock today. The stock gained 9.80% to close at N0.56. Cutix Plc gained 9.76% to close at N2.25. NPF Microfinance Bank gained 9.72% to close at N1.58. 

On the flip side, PZ Cussons Nigeria was the worst performing stock today. The stock shed 9.67% to close at N12.15. Livestock Feeds Plc shed 8.96% to close at N0.61. Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc rounds up the top three losers for the day to declining by 7.14% to close at N0.26.  

Top Trades by Volume  

Diamond Bank was the most actively traded stock. 33 million shares valued at N82.1 million were traded in 109 deals. UBA was next with 31.6 million shares valued at N239 million traded in 191 deals. Zenith Bank rounds up the top three most actively traded today with 28.8 million shares valued at N703 million traded in 451 deals.
