Following the resignation of James Agada from CWG Plc’s Board, Adewale Adeyipo has been appointed as the company’s Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.
Adeyipo’s appointment will take effect from January 1, 2019.
About Adewale Adeyipo
Adewale Adeyipo is the VP, Sales and Marketing, overseeing all responsibility for Sales, Marketing and Product Management within the CWG Group. Prior to his appointment, Adeyipo has held several leadership positions in CWG including business development for the Telecommunication arm in 2010 and Business Director for PAN Africa Initiatives in 2014.
Adeyipo has previously served as a Director in Consultative Sales and Managed Services Engagements for Telecommunication Companies, which he has 12 years experience in.
Adeyipo worked at Discount Finance House in 2005, where he was responsible for providing Platforms and Mechanism to enhance the delivery of Micro Finance Credit Scheme both for government and private agencies. Thereafter, he worked with e-Peak Systems in 2007.
He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, he is an Alumni of the Lagos Business School (LBS) and has also attended premium sales and leadership trainings both locally and internationally.
