Dangote Cement Plc has extended the footprint of its new product, BlocMaster in Benin City and Asaba. This was after the cement product was launched in Kano a few weeks ago.

The Director, Route to the Market, Funmi Sanni, said the BlocMaster quality had been certified by regulatory agencies in the country including the Standards Organisation of Nigeria.

Sanni said, “It is the king of cement because it is the best quality cement in Nigeria today, based on the laboratory research which shows it is of high quality in terms of value for money. When you mould blocks with BlocMaster and it is raining, you don’t have to worry,” Sanni said.

Nairametrics had reported that builders and other stakeholders lauded the BlocMaster Cement which was formally launched in Kano State.

Before it was officially rolled out yesterday, the innovative cement product had been adjudged ideal by the country’s engineers, builders and block makers, due to its rapid setting within an hour, its strength and top quality.

Block makers in attendance of the BlocMaster’s official launch in Kano, lauded the Dangote Cement’s innovate efforts and after a demonstrative test also confirmed its strength and asserted that surely, it is the best product for building construction for now, from the stable of Dangote cement.

Dangote Cement Plc had released its financial results for the 9 months ended 30th September 2018. Revenue for the company increased from N603 billion in 2017 to N685 billion. This represents a 13.54%  increase year on year.

Profit Before Tax increased from N220 billion in 2017 to N247 billion. This represents a 12.35% increase year on year.

Profit after tax also increased from 154 billion in 2017 to 158 billion. This represents a 2.70% increase year on year.

The earnings per share also increased from N9.04 in 2017 to N9.29 in 2018. This represents a 2.70% increase year on year.

Dangote Cement Plc is currently trading at N205.00 in today’s trading session on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
