In April, Oando Plc officially commissioned its new office building, the ‘Wings Office Complex’, located along Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue on Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Wings Office Complex was modeled according to international office buildings standard, incorporating space for amenities such as restaurants and retail outlets.
Wings is a smart and energy efficient building that regulates its internal temperate to acclimatise with outdoor temperature. It also uses energy efficient and smart lighting systems with occupancy and daylight sensors to make sure office lights are only on when they are needed, especially when occupants are in a room and sunlight is diminishing. The deliberate use of floor to ceiling windows in the 4 corners of the building ensures that occupants are always within 12 metres of natural light.
Femi Otedola is the chairman of Forte Oil a rival oil and gas downstream company.
