H1 2018 Results: Total Nigeria Plc records 23% increase in profit

Total Nigeria Plc recently released its H1 2018 financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2018.

Here are the key highlights of the reports

Revenue

The company reported revenue of ₦156.27 billion for the period ended June 2018 compared to ₦152.97 billion reported for the period ended June 2017. This represents 2% increase.

Profit Before Tax

Profit before tax was ₦8.65 billion for the period ended June 2018, a 18% increase compared to profit of ₦7.31 billion reported for the period ended June 2017.

Profit After Tax

The company’s profit after tax for the half year ended 30th June 2018 was ₦5.67 billion, a 23% increase compared to profit of ₦4.61 billion recorded in H1 2017.

Earnings Per Share

Total Nigeria Plc, however, reported earnings per share of N17 for the period ended June 2018 as against earnings of N14 reported for the comparative period in 2017.

Current Share Price

Total Nigeria Plc stock as at yesterday was N183, 1-year return down by 27.24%
