Diamond Bank has also released its Q1 2018 financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2018.

Revenue
The bank reported interest income of ₦38.13 billion for the quarter ended 31st March 2018 as against ₦38.65 billion recorded during Q1 2017. This represents a 1% decline in interest income.
Profit Before Tax
Profit before tax was ₦1.25 billion in Q1 2018 as against ₦5.05billion in Q1 2017. This represents a 75% decrease.
Profit After Tax
Profit after tax for the quarter ended 31st March was ₦784 Million as against ₦4.29 billion recorded in Q1 2017.
Earnings per Share
The earnings per share for the quarter ended 31st March 2018 is 15 kobo as against 16 kobo in Q1 2017.
