The year is gradually coming to an end.. It is a period to take stock of your activities during the year. This period also offers an opportunity to relax and unwind. Here is the list of events coming up this December.
- Olamide Live In Concert Show (OLIC 2017): After the successful release of his seventh studio album titled Lagos Nawa , Olamide fondly called Badoo by his numerous fans is making another remarkable move that further cements his position as the hottest and most influential rapper in Nigeria. Baddo has just announced that the fourth edition of his annual headline concert ‘Olamide Live In Concert (OLIC)’ will be moving to a new venue – a much more bigger venue! The previous editions were held at the 6,000 capacity Eko Hotels Convention Centre in Lagos which was quite a massive venue but not large enough to contain the multitude who come out annually to witness the event. The rapper has just announced that the 2017 edition which is slated for 17th December will be held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium – a 24, 000 capacity stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
- The Jos Chilling Mega Fiesta: Fun-lovers in the cold-city of Jos Central Nigeria are in for swell time as all roads lead to Mees Palace, Ray Field, Jos on December 2, 2017 for one of the biggest concert in Nigeria. The concert will feature MI Abaga, Harrysong, Cynthia Morgan, Mr.2kay, DJ Jimmy Jatt. The host is Osama Akponuno and a host of others ready to supply good music and entertaining performances.
- One Night Stand with Adekunle Gold (ONSWAG): This is a live music concert featuring Adekunle Gold & The 79th Element performing carefully curated songs from Adekunle Gold’s repertoire. The live music concert will showcase the Urban Highlife singer and his band, The 79Â Element, thrill and entertain the audience with classy and authentic performances. This concert is set to hold at The Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel Lagos on Boxing Day, 26Â of December, 2017.
- The Port-Harcourt Carnival (CANIRIV): The Rivers state cultural carnival has been scheduled to commence from the 13th to 20th day of December in Port Harcourt city. The unique feature of Port Harcourt carnival is that it is a combination of the contemporary Caribbean-style carnival and cultural carnival. There is always an influx of people in the capital city of Rivers state during this unique festival that takes place every month of December.
- Wizkid Live in Concert: The event will feature a live performance from Wizkid . Wizkid won three of the most prestigious awards at the just concluded All Africa Films Award (AFRIMA) ; Artiste of the Year, Song of the Year and the Best West African Artiste award.The event will hold at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja on 16th of December 2017.
- The Calabar International Carnival: This is the most elaborate festival in Nigeria. It is a weeklong event and the next thing to the yearly Rio de Janeiro carnival of Brazil. Calabar festival is a celebration of creativity and culture, that blends with both the traditional and modern lifestyle of the people in Cross River State.No fewer than  26 countries are participating in the 2017 Calabar carnival.Most of them will have their own band on the grand finale on December 27 and December 28.
- Daystar Christmas Carol Service: This is unarguable the best Christmas carol service Lagos. The annual carol service is organized by Daystar Christian Center Oregun Lagos. The carol service has continued to evolve by bringing new dynamics into their acts and shaping culture using contemporary songs. The carol service is scheduled for 10th December 2017.
- Lagos Street Carnival: Formerly known as Lagos Street party, has metamorphosed into a carnival. The event which would take place on the whole stretch of Oba Akran  Avenue Ikeja from noon till midnight on Dec.3, ahead of the Yuletide.
- The Port-Harcourt International Trade Fair: The trade fair will take place from the 5th – 20th December 2017 at Issac Boro Park, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State and is being organised by the Port-Harcourt Chamber of Commerce and Industry.The fair and show will provide all participants with wide business opportunities and a platform to effectively market and sell their goods and products to a larger target group and consumer.
- The Genesis Fashion Show 2017. The fashion show is organized by the Teens Church RCCG City of David. The venue is Harbor point, V.I, Lagos, Nigeria. 18th Of December, 2017.  m Prompt.
