Official: Nigerian Police Currently Verifying NOK Of Officers Who Died In Service Between 2004 And 2010

An advertorial on Punch page A1 dated Monday June 3, indicates the Nigerian Police are currently verifying and capturing biometric data of Next of Kin (NOK) of police office who died in active service between July  2004- February 2010 (batch B). This exercise is for the processing of the Death In Service Benefits due to them in respect of the deceased personnel.

The verification exercise takes place at Chams City Shehu Shagari Way Abuja, from Monday June 10th to Wednessday July 24th.

    But we have not been paid his benefit since then
