What they dont tell you is that the card services are one of the worse!
You rely soley on the card in a foreign land and you might just find yourself crying in an airport terminal
You do a transfer and it begins to take eons!

I culled this rebuke from a friends Facebook post. It is not the first time I am hearing this from customers of GTB (I am not one) and I was wondering if this really was the case. The Bank has always come tops in most banking surveys particularly the KPMG Banking Industry Customer Satisfaction Survey.
However, this is in contrast to what I have heard severally about their card services. For example, someone said when your debit card is debited twice while trying to withdraw money it can take the bank as much as 2 days to get it sorted out. To make that worse, you might even need to go to the bank in person to lodge a complain. Someone else also complained that it is actually worse when you have such problems if the debit cards is used abroad. Stories of down times also abound as well.
So are their Card services really that bad? What is your opinion?
