After a run of bearish performances in the NGX this week, the market has bounced back, with banking stocks leading the rally.
Equities trading on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) concluded the first month of 2024 (January) with notable positivity, propelled by a notable surge in investor confidence directed towards listed corporations. 
For the first time since January 10, 2024, the NGX has closed in the bearish zone as the All-Share Index declined by 1.5% to close at 103,110.15 points, a decline of 1,567.82 from yesterday’s 104,674.67 points.  
Within the global financial arena, Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX)’s remarkable year-to-date growth of 37% has stirred a mix of excitement and apprehension among investors.
After slowing down the bullish momentum last week, the NGX has jerked back with a 2.22% gain, as the All-Share Index hit 104,674.67 points, up 2272.79 points from last Friday’s 102,481.55 points.
