NERC has issued a directive to DisCos on the structured replacement of faulty and obsolete meters for their customers.
While consumers remain unmetered due to the inefficiencies of the Discos, the Discos continue to charge outrageous estimated bills.
DisCos received 203,116 complaints in Q2 2020, of which 60% were based on estimated billing, metering and service interruption.
