President Buhari is also the first African leader to visit Trump since he was sworn in over a year ago. According to information from the presidency, Nigerian delegation to the US will be meeting with the business community in the US. For example, President @MBuhari will meet with a group of businesspersons in agriculture and agro-processing, dairy and animal husbandry.
Why Aliko Dangote?
The business magnate is heavily invested in Agriculture and is building the largest refinery in Africa. He businesses require several agreements and memorandum of understanding with service providers, particularly in the US.
By accompanying the President, he is likely to use the opportunity to close major deals and agreements that require the endorsement of the government.
If you are an investor in any of Dangote stocks then you would expect him to be part of any major delegation to the US not just by appearing but by leading the business community from Nigeria.
