Flutterwave, a leading payment technology company in Africa has announced a partnership with AfroSport Network to broadcast the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations free-to-air.
It was clear that sports fans in Nigeria and across Africa are in for a treat as CEO and Founder Flutterwave, Mr Olugbenga GB Agboola disclosed this via Flutterwave blog post titled “It’s time to cheer for Africa”.
He said the sponsorship will help the African Union of Broadcasters (AUB) offer a world-class broadcast of the AFCON 2021 on free-to-air television in Nigeria and across the continent.

Flutterwave affirmed the importance of sports and partnered with a platform that would provide top-notch content in sports stating that “Uniting Africa through sports is just as important as the work we do in uniting Africa through payments and commerce. Today, We have partnered with AfroSport Network, Africa’s first Free To Air (FTA) sports channel, to broadcast the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations on free-to-air networks across Africa to grow our unity as a continent.”
