CredPal launches “CredPal Pay”, a holistic merchant suite to drive retail credit in the African market

CredPal has launched its advanced merchant suite that it says would revolutionize point-of-sale financing for merchants. Appropriately named “CredPal Pay,” the product is expected to help businesses grow rapidly and increase sales through buy now, pay later.

CredPal Pay boasts of a number of features ranging from payment links and QR codes that merchants can share online and offline to receive credit payment from customers who want to buy now and pay later, to a checkout plugin that helps merchants upsell on their e-commerce websites, and a payment management system where merchants can view orders and reconcile payments – CredPal Pay is a holistic merchant suite that makes point of sale financing seamless.

Fehintolu Olaogun the CEO/Co-founder of CredPal, said that the impact of covid has extensively accelerated the move of big and small businesses to digital payments, an urgent adoption that has never been seen within the B2B landscape.

He further explained, “It was important to keep evolving our ‘buy now, pay later’ innovation to meet up with recent demands of the retail market. This way it’s not just the customers who enjoy the ease of payment but merchants also have a more convenient way to accept installment payment from their customers.”

Outside the benefits of an increase in sales, merchants who use CredPal Pay also have exclusive access to business credit for operational cash flow and credit cards for their own personal needs. According to Olorunfemi Jegede, COO/Co-founder, this is an opportunity for merchants to embrace not just a digital payment option but one that increases the purchasing power of their customers.

The company touts itself as “the pioneer of buy now, pay later in Nigeria” boasting of merchants across several industries. This launch comes weeks after the company announced partnerships with major industry players like Slot Limited, Fixit45, and JustRite Stores.

Needless to say that as a merchant, partnering with CredPal is worth considering, especially as the customer adoption for buy now, pay later continues to increase in Africa.

CredPal is the first Nigerian point-of-sale service to build a merchant suite with the aforementioned features for retail credit. There’s no stopping them as the co-founders say that there are more exciting things to come.
