The AVA GAM Dollar Fund is an actively managed open-ended mutual fund which will be invested in Dollar-denominated Securities. The Fund is targeted at High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), Africans and Nigerians in the diaspora, and institutional investors (both local and foreign), who desire exposure to Dollar-denominated fixed-income investment instruments.
The fund shall invest a target weight of 45% of the fund in Sovereign Eurobonds of quoted FGN Eurobonds, 35% of the Fund in Corporate Eurobonds of Nigerian Issuers, and 20% in money market instruments.
What is a Mutual Fund
A mutual fund is a collective investment scheme which permits multiple investors to aggregate their savings in a joint fund in order to properly manage the portfolio and earn better returns. This portfolio is administered by a Fund Manager that undertakes management to ensure capital preservation and optimal returns in the medium to long term.

The fund is managed by AVA Global Asset Managers Limited (AVA GAM), a firm licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a Portfolio and Fund Manager.

Funds are held in a custodian account on behalf of the Trustee and the Fund. UBA Global Investor Services Division has been appointed as Custodian to the Fund.
Minimum Subscription
The initial investment into the fund is $1,000 and subsequent additional multiples of $500.
How to Subscribe
Investors can subscribe to Units of the Fund by downloading the Application form here supported by relevant KYC Documents such as Passport Photograph, Government Issued ID card, and Utility Bill etc. and subsequently making payments to the account stated here. Payment for units of the Fund can be made via a bank or wire transfer in accordance with instructions on the form.
