Another Coronavirus-related death has been recorded in Lagos State. This was announced earlier today by the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi via his Twitter handle.
According to the Commissioner, the deceased was a 66-year-old British citizen who traveled from India via Dubai to Lagos on the 17th of March 2020. No further details were provided about the deceased.
Meanwhile, Abayomi also confirmed that the total number of Coronavirus cases in Laos State has increased to 130. He urged Lagosians to stay home and stay safe in order to further curtail the spread of the contagious virus. See his tweet below:

Recall that a 36-year-old Nigerian had died of Coronavirus on Saturday, April 4th. Prior to that, a 55-year-old man had also died of Coronavirus at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. These deaths bring the toll to 7 in Nigeria.
As Nairametrics reported, 254 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, with 44 patients discharged so far.
