The identity of the person behind the viral video of a helicopter seen landing along Lagos-Benin Expressway to pick a passenger in a bid to escape the usual gridlock, after allegedly spending over 2 hours on that route, has been revealed.

Identity revealed: The said man has been alleged to be an Edo billionaire, Julian Osula, the owner of Julian’s Luxury. Julian’s Luxury is a VIP dealer on luxurious jewellery, garments, and other custom made accessories.
A Nigerian on Twitter shared the picture of the billionaire on his page as he commended his lifestyle which he had identified as living big.

Since his identity emerged online, many were not surprised as they believed he is wealthy enough to afford the luxury. Another Twitter user disclosed that Osula runs a big restaurant in Europe and has a fleet of luxurious cars.

The billionaire has refuted claims that connects him to the viral video as he said in a report that he wasn’t the one the helicopter came to pick at the Lagos-Benin expressway.
He further added that he just posted the viral video on his Instagram page just to talk about the luxury people enjoy in life.

Julian Osamede Osula, hails from Benin City in Edo state, he is a lawyer, who graduated from the University of Benin. The now businessman started off his career at the defunct First City Merchant Bank and the Alpha Merchant Bank before starting his business.
In 1991 he started his company called Manla Enterprises which was into printing and supplies of gift items, rendering his services to popular brands like Elf Petroleum, Texaco, INEC, Access Bank e.t.c.
In 2004, Osula expanded his business after he got a contract to supply warships spare parts to the Nigerian Navy. His entrepreneurship goals further expanded as he went further to create two companies.
In 2011 he opened up a company that was into the sales of luxury wrist watches which he named Stiple Gate, which he later renamed in 2013 to Julian’s Luxury
Julian Osula is married to Oghogho Osula, a former Managing Director of Coronation Trustees, a subsidiary of Coronation Merchant Bank and they have three children.
