Japaul Oil and Maritime Services Plc has announced the appointment of two new executive directors.
A letter signed by the company’s General Manager in charge of Human Resources & Services, Johnson Adejumobi, introduced Mrs Funmilola Omodamori and Engr Kingsley Uyokpeyi as Executive Directors in charge of Finance and Operations, respectively.
Until the appointment, Omodamori acted as an Executive Director of Finance at Japaul.
About Mrs Funmilola Omodamori: Mrs Omodamori is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Lagos where she obtained a Second Class Upper grade in 2007. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife.
She worked as an auditor at the accounting firm Gbenga Adeoye & Co between 2009 and 2012. Omodamori also worked in the manufacturing sector prior to joining Japaul in December 2012. Since then, she held roles as diverse as Accounts Manager, Senior Manager (Finance and Account) Assistant General Manager (Accounts), and General Manager in the Finance, Planning, Internal Audit, and Risk Mangement departments of the company.

She was the Chief Financial Officer at Japaul before her appointment as acting Executive Director, Finance and Planning.
Omodamori is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate Member of ICAN Accounting Technicians Scheme, West Africa as well as an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
About Engr Kingsley Uyokpeyi: Engr Uyokpeyi has about twenty years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering with competence in the management of various dredging and marine projects, road and highway engineering, pollution control and environmental works.
He joined Japaul in 2014 as a project manager, having worked as a project engineer at Vernon Engineering Limited, Project Coordinator at Coastal Continental Limited and Superintendent for years at Destiny Dredge International.
Mr. Uyokpeyi holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt. He equally has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and another Master’s in Management.
He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
The stock of Japaul Oil and Maritime Services is currently trading at N0.24 per share on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
