eTranzact international Plc has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Olaniyi Toluwalope as the company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Until the conformation, Toluwalope was the interim CEO of eTranzact.

In a statement signed by the Company Secretary, Oreoluwa Olukoju and published by the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), eTranzact also announced the appointment of Mr. Hakeem Adeniji-Adele as the Deputy Managing Director of the company.

Olaniyi Toluwalope’s profile: Before joining eTranzact as the Chief Financial Officer in 2011, he worked in several units within PricewaterhouseCoopers including Financial Services, Energy and Oil & Gas, Telecommunication, and Consumer and Industrial Products.

He also worked at JP Morgan Securities Investment Banking Division and Credit Suisse First Boston’s Investment Banking unit in New York City.

Toluwalope served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of eTranzact before the Board’s approval to the substantive Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.

He holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Lagos and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business. He is also a Chartered Accountant.

Hakeem Adeniji-Adele’s profile: Adeniji-Adele served as the Chief Technology Officer and Public Service Director of Microsoft between 2015 and 2018. He also worked in Aspirah Technology Solutions Limited where he was the Managing Director.

Adeniji-Adele has over 20-years hands-on experience in technology having worked in different capacities in various companies.

He holds a BSc Honours in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of London Goldsmiths College and an MBA (Corporate Finance) from the University of Leicester Management School.

eTranzact says these appointments will help to drive the Company’s business forward. Its board of directors is now comprised of the following:

  • Mr. Olayinka Oluwatimehin (Non-Executive Director)
  • Mr. Hakeem Adeniji-Adele (Deputy Managing Director)

Note: eTranzact share price has traded flat for weeks since the company’s stock price dropped from N2.64 kobo on May 10, 2019. It last traded at N2.38 kobo on May 31, 2019.
