Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), earlier today disclosed its financial result for the first quarter (Q1) period ended March 31st, 2019. Below are key highlights of the result:
Gross Earnings: Gross earnings increased from N198.6 billion in 2018 to N199.4 billion in 2019, indicating a 0.50% increase.
Profit Before Tax: Profit before tax also rose from N33.9 billion in 2018, to N37.09 billion in 2019, representing an increase of 12.12%.
Profit After Tax: Profit After Tax also jumped from N27 billion in 2018, to N30 billion in 2019, representing an 11.11% increase.
Earnings Per Share (Diluted): Diluted earnings per share fell from 95 kobo in 2018, to 91 kobo in 2019.
Current Share Price: ETI is currently trading at N10.45 during today’s trading session on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
