Investors lose N713 billion in Nigerian Stock Exchange, Bargain hunting in stock market

The Nigerian Stock Exchange ended Friday’s trading session in negative territory. The All Share Index closed at 29.740.41 basis points, down 0.60%.

Year to date, the index is down 5.38%.

Top Gainers and Losers: Dangote Flour Mills Plc was the best performing stock on Friday. The stock gained 9.89% to close at N15.55. Neimeth International Pharmaceutical Plc gained 9.84% to close at N0.67. Cutix Plc rounds up the top three gainers, gaining 9.63% to close at N2.05.

On the flip side, Okomu Oil Palm Plc was the worst performing stock today. The stock declined by  10% to close at N72. Union Dicon Salt Plc fell by 9.67% to close at N12.15. Premier Paints Plc rounds up the top three losers for the day. The stock shed 9.62% to close at N9.40.

Top Trades by Volume- Japaul Oil Plc was the most actively traded stock on Friday. 56 million shares valued at N15 million were traded in 137 deals.

United Bank of Africa Plc was next with 29.9 million shares valued at 218 million traded in 213 deals.

Transnational Corp of Nigeria Plc rounds up the top three most actively traded stocks today. 17.3 million shares valued at N19.2 million were traded in 105 deals.
