President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Walter Onnoghen. The President took the step following the recommendation of the Code of Conduct Tribunal(CCT). The suspension is pending the completion of his trial. Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed has been sworn-in, as the Acting CJN.
