The massive appreciation recorded today was largely due to the positive performance of Dangote Cement which gained 4.9%
Top Gainers and Losers
Regency Alliance Insurance gained 10% this week to close at N0.22. Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals appreciated by 9.87% this week to close at N0.67. Union Bank rounds up the top three gainers for the day appreciating by 9.76% to close at N6.75.
On the flip side, Berger Paints was the worst performing stock today. The stock shed 9.88% to close at N7.75. Livestock Feeds was next dropping by 9.43% to close at N0.48. Beta Glass rounds up the top three losers for the day shedding 8.79% to close at N55.

Diamond Bank was the most actively traded stock today with 72.1 million shares valued at N151 million traded in 120 deals. Zenith Bank was next with 49.6 million shares valued at N1 billion traded in 734 deals. Guaranty Trust Bank rounds up the top three most actively traded with 46.2 million shares valued at N1.4 billion traded in 363 deals.

Access bank Plc has clarified media reports that hinted at a N150 billion green bond issue in 2021.
