Continental Reinsurance Plc has announced the appointment of Patricia Ifewulu as its new Company Secretary, with effect from January 1, 2019.
Ifewulu would be taking over from Abimbola Falana, who was advised to retire with effect from December 31, 2018.

Ifewulu has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), LAW, Second Class Upper Division, at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu in 2002.
She also has a BL, LAW, 2nd Class Honours, Upper Division in 2004 from the Nigerian Law School. She became an associate of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators UK in 2012.
She completed her Masters Degree, Law at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 2016.
Ifewulu started her career as a Graduate Assistant, Faculty of Law at the University of Ado-Ekiti. She served there from October 2004 to August 2005.
In 2006, Ifewulu became an Associate Attorney at Paul Usoro & Co, where he served for over 3-years. In 2009, she became a Manager, Legal Services: In house counsel in a group holding financial services company at Royal Exchange Plc where she served for 2 years.
In 2010, she became a Company Secretary at Royal Exchange Healthcare Limited where she served for almost 8 years.

Incorporated in Nigeria in 1985, Continental Reinsurance started business initially as a private reinsurance company.
