Golden Energy Offshore Services says its contract with Total E&P Nigeria for its offshore service vessels,has been extended.
The company had earlier announced in June 2017 to have entered into a contract with Total E&P Nigeria for the Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) for one of its vessels named “Energy Scout” – for a firm period of three months plus optional periods of three months each.
The Company announced extension of the contract for the second time. Energy Scout contract is now further extended in direct continuation of the present firm contract and vessel is now with the firm until 1st April 2018 plus optional periods of 3 months each thereafter.
The vessel, Energy Scout is a UT 755-L design and is a mechanically driven supply ship built by Brevik Construction and delivered in 2005.
The vessel is designed for field supply and equipped with four thrusters and a class dynamic positioning system and is meant for all kind of offshore services.
The vessel is built with an integrated system of two passive stabilizing tanks below the main deck to minimize roll. This allows it to remain along the platforms in heavier weather.
