The Minister for State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu has tweeted his support for the recently passed Petroluem Industry and Governance Bill. In a tweet sent earlier today (see below) he said the tweet was “impressive” and “captures aspirations for NNPC”.
The House of Reps is expected to pass their own version of the bill following which it will be harmonised and then sent to the Presidency for accent. No timelines have been provided for this.
