Nairametrics| United Capital Asset Management Ltd (a division of United Capital Plc) has launched a mutual fund targeted specifically at women. United Capital Wealth For Women’s Fund. The asset allocation of the fund will be majorly in money market securities at a proportion not exceeding 80% and equities at a proportion not exceeding 20%. While majorly targeted at women, men are not excluded from subscribing to the fund.
Application list for the fund opened on Wednesday the 23rd of January and closes on Friday the 3rd of March 2017. Minimum number of units that can be applied for is 10 thousand units which costs ₦10000 naira (ten thousand naira). Additional units can be bought in multiples of five thousand units costing ₦5000 naira (five thousand naira).
