NBS AGO Price Watch: Zamfara State Had the Most Expensive Diesel in December 2016.

In the recently released Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) Diesel price watch for December 2016 by the National Bureau Of Statistics (NBS), diesel prices in Zamfara were the most expensive in the country at N211 naira per litre.
Abuja, Yobe and Gombe states had the lowest average diesel price in the country at N180 naira per litre. Lagos state, home to the ports through which diesel is imported in the country, had prices had than the national average at N197 naira per litre.
Diesel prices went up 19% Year on Year between December 2015 and December 2016. The average price for diesel across states in the country was N196 naira per litre.
