Power supply has been epileptic in Nigeria for months with power supply generation dropping to as low at 2,000MW. This is due to the bombings in the Niger Delta that has hampered gas supplies to generating companies.
Despite this fact, Nigeria still ranks low as one of the countries that generate the most power in Africa. This list below shows power generation from some selected African countries that Nigeria is expected to compete with.
