Tiger Branded Consumer Goods Plc (company) have notified the Nigerian stock exchange (NSE) of the appointment of Ms. Halima Dangote as an Executive Director. In a letter written to the DG of the NSE, the company said that the appointment will take effect from the 15th of February 2016.
Halima Dangote, before her appointment, was an Executive Director at Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) and an Executive Director Commercial (EDC) at NASCON Allied Industries Plc., a subsidiary of DIL. She joined DIL in 2008 and has held a number of executive management roles.
Ms. Dangote will now be responsible for new business development and project management, and also working closely with the President/CEO and other members of the executive team to develop geographic and sectoral expansion plans for DIL.
According to her CV, her industry skills include; Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Dvelopment Sector (Foundation), Real Estate, Agriculture, and Consulting.
