- Vitafoam Nigeria Plc (“The Company” or “the Vitafoam Group”) has notified The Nigerian Stock Exchange that its Board of Directors met on 22 April 2015 and approved the retirement of Mr. Joel Ajiga as the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Vitafoam Group with effect from 23rd October, 2015 after years of diligent and meritorious service.
- Mr. Ajiga will commence his pre-retirement leave with effect from 23 April 2015 prior to his final disengagement from the Company. The Board has also approved the retirement of Mr. Brabindoh Ogun from the position of Group Finance Director with effect from 23 October 2015.
- Meanwhile, the Board has appointed Mr. Taiwo Adeniyi as the Acting Group Managing Director/CEO of the Company. Mr. Adeniyi holds a BSc Degree (Chemistry) and MSc Degree (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from the University of Lagos and MSc Degree (Engineering and Logistics) from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom.
- He joined the Vitafoam Group in 2007 and was appointed to the Board in July 2012. Prior to his appointment as Acting Group Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Adeniyi was the Group Technical & Development Director.
